Indigenous Business Month is held across Australia from 1 to 31 October each year. It celebrates the innovation, leadership, resilience and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses while highlighting the important role Indigenous enterprise plays in employment, economic participation, culture and community.
The Indigenous Business Month 2026 theme is Local and Connected. It encourages Australian organisations to identify Indigenous businesses operating in their local communities, build genuine relationships and consider how their purchasing, partnerships and workplace activities can create lasting value.
Aboriginal Cultural Immersions helps businesses, government departments, universities, councils and organisations take part through Aboriginal-led cultural awareness training, storytelling, art workshops, cultural performances, Yarning Circles, ceremonies and immersive workplace experiences.
Programs can be delivered for a single workplace, conference or corporate event, or coordinated across multiple locations as part of a national Indigenous Business Month program.

The strongest Indigenous Business Month programs combine recognition with meaningful action. Organisations can engage Indigenous suppliers, review procurement opportunities, support local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander enterprises and create space for Aboriginal-led learning within the workplace.
Aboriginal Cultural Immersions can tailor a cultural program around your organisation, audience, location and objectives. Activities can support staff engagement, cultural capability, leadership development, conferences, Reconciliation Action Plan commitments, corporate events and ongoing relationships with Aboriginal communities.
Aboriginal-led cultural awareness training helps staff develop a stronger understanding of Aboriginal histories, cultures, protocols, perspectives and contemporary experiences. Sessions can be adapted for leadership teams, employees, government staff, contractors, universities and organisations working with Aboriginal communities.
Interactive Indigenous Business Month activities can include Aboriginal art workshops, storytelling, Yarning Circles, cultural presentations, artefacts, music, dance and facilitated conversations. These experiences encourage participation while creating opportunities for respectful listening, reflection and shared learning.
Programs may also include Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremonies, cultural performances, keynote presentations and conference activations. We coordinate ceremonies in accordance with local cultural authority, cultural protocols, location, and the availability of appropriate Traditional Owners or cultural representatives.

NAIDOC Week is held in July and celebrates the histories, cultures and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples more broadly.
Early planning is recommended, particularly for October events involving large groups, several facilitators, ceremonies, conferences or programs delivered across multiple offices. Booking ahead provides more time to confirm appropriate facilitators and develop a program suited to your organisation and location.
