5th - 12th July 2026
The National NAIDOC Committee has announced NAIDOC Week celebrations will be held from 5 - 12 July 2026.
Aboriginal Cultural Immersions invite you to join the celebrations held across Australia in 2026 by booking Indigenous Activities. Every year, we are inundated with corporate events in the week of NAIDOC. We suggest your team look at planning early for 2026
Celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. National NAIDOC Week 2026 is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. You can support and get to know your local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities through activities and events held across the country.
As we head towards 2026, NAIDOC Week will be 51 years of celebrating, honouring and elevating Indigenous voices, culture, and resilience.
The National NAIDOC Committee takes an essential step toward independence, embracing self-determination as a model for the next generation. With every story shared, every act of resilience remembered, and every cultural practice celebrated, we honour a legacy that reaches far into the past and extends into the future.
Advancing forward from 2025's 50th year celebrations that helped create a solid foundation for the next generation to rise, ground and strengthen our Elders and history, inspired by a shared vision, and committed to building a legacy of unity, respect, and self-determination for all.
Together, we walk forward, honouring where we've come from and looking boldly to the next generation who will carry NAIDOC and their communities into the future.
May 26th 2026 - We remember and acknowledge the mistreatment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, which we now know as ‘The Stolen Generations’.
National Sorry Day is a day to acknowledge the strength of Stolen Generations Survivors and reflect on how we can all share in the healing process.
